I published 10 poems this month as part of a poetry challenge
April is Global Poetry Writing Month. Everyone participating from around the Web is encouraged to write a poem a day, optionally based on each day’s prompt. It was my first time participating in this challenge. My goal was not to pen a poem a day for the sake of it but to write verses which express what I think and feel about various things. The collective challenge helped catalyze the process, just as the photoblogging challenge did in 2022. I ended up publishing 10 pieces of poetry this month, all listed below. It includes two poems written in Hindustani, which was part of my writing goals this year. One poem I dedicate to my father, and one to my mother.
On life
On space (and life)
- Selene, smashed not shattered
- Back to the Moon..
- Don’t screw up the Moon
- Antariksh ki pyaas / अंतरिक्ष की प्यास / The thirst for space
Do read the appended notes for each poem. If you resonated with any poem or verse in particular, you can let me know or tip me to celebrate human writing. ^_^
