What will make me take LinkedIn seriously

You know how LinkedIn shows where we work and what our position there is below our names on every post we make?

What it should show instead is whose stock we own, who has contracted our company’s work, and which activities we fund in order of their magnitude and time period. Only then can I consider taking your enthusiasm for a job, project, or organization seriously.

Since data personalization is so good for the world, let’s go three steps further:

  1. If you post about a company or organization, or things related to it contractually, LinkedIn displays if you own that particular stock or related stocks, and if you’re a contractor or prime for them.
  2. Algorithmically display such posts in order of their potential to move money
  3. Discard likes and reactions from employees on posts made by their company
