Week notes inception

This week has been nice. A list of notable events below; some photos follow.

  • Gave a public talk about our Moon and its exploration to people having beer. The talk series it was part of is aptly named Pint of View. It was great to have an extremely engaged audience.
  • Went to Cubbon Reads. Reading at the beautiful Cubbon Park has become my weekly dose of sanity and serenity. ^_^
  • Attended a talk and discussion around a book on Vikram Sarabhai, the founder of India’s space program as well as many more things related to India’s holistic development post-independence. It was good to see an approach to profiling Sarabhai from outside the organizations he was associated with.
  • Discovered a nice and nestled Thai café in BTM layout, Bangalore with friends.
  • Participated in the latest IndieWeb Club meet in Bangalore. It was on week notes, thereby prompting this week note. Let’s see how it goes.
  • Spent a lot of time figuring out the nuances of the logistics of self publishing books (I’m not writing a book yet but was curious).
  • Published the usual Moon Monday, which always feels worthwhile.
  • Continued work on my next edition of Indian Space Progress.

Bangalore metro train information displays seem to work on Windows 7.. in 2025.
The Moon has talked to many drunk people since the dawn of civilization but here I am talking about our Moon and its exploration to room full of people about to go lunatic either way with my Pint of View.
Audience captured in Moonlight 🌝

Have you been up to something interesting lately? Let me know!
